Second is Poor Things, directed by Greek visionary Yorgos Lanthimos, and starring Emma Stone, who delivers the performance of the year.

This year, we’re watching White Christmas, Jingle All the Way, and Elf. You can expect singing, swooning, drunken cackling, and at least one epic Ms Sinclair rant.

That’s right, we finally watched Damien Chazelle’s Babylon; the period epic that surprisingly flopped during this award’s season. Curious as to why? Well, we’ve got some guesses, as well as all sorts of thoughts on this god forsaken three hour film. For Our Week In Entertainment we’re keeping the party going! Well…sort of…the theme is “Life of the Party” and we have some interesting interpretations on that one. Enjoy!

We're in awards season so, naturally, we have another double feature for you. This week we bring you two films about mortality! Brendan Fraser plays a 600 pound man quickly approaching death in Darren Aronofsky's The Whale and Adam Driver and Greta Gerwig are a couple grappling with their fear of death in Noah Baumbach's White Noise.
